Unveiling the no-code platform to scale enterprise AI – Noogata

By Assaf Egozi on May 12, 2021

This week marks a huge milestone for both Noogata and me personally.

After working in stealth mode for quite some time, this week Noogata announced $12 million in seed funding led by Team8 global venture group, with participation from Skylake Capital.

It’s wonderful to see our business-focused, modular, no-code AI platform already delivering impact for companies around the world and bringing to life our vision to deliver on the promise of AI. The impressive seed funding we raised just shows the investor community’s confidence in Noogata’s vision.

When I joined the incredible Noogata team in May 2019, exactly two months after the company was officially founded by Assaf Egozi and Oren Raboy, our goal was to infuse AI into business operations easily and at a fraction of the cost.

Anyone who has been part of an early stage startup knows that it can be a bumpy ride, with plenty of obstacles along the way. What differentiates the strong from the weak, is how we get ourselves over them to find the path forward. Working at a startup requires agility, with the need to adjust and pivot continuously in order to create the best fit for the market. At Noogata we went through all of this, and then some.

To develop enterprise grade AI applications, organizations are required to either use siloed out-of-the-box solutions or take on a major effort of in-house development. Pursuing either of these options simply does not scale. Data teams are swamped with demand from across the organization and deal with a constant growing analytics use case list and are constantly looking for the right tool that can take off most of the load in a rapid and reliable way. Noogata effectively takes out the complexity and costs of having to custom develop or maintain AI solutions and delivers on that exact promise.

Noogata empowers enterprises by offering a no-code, modular platform for scaling AI data analytics. For data teams this means having a reliable tool where they can easily compose the solutions they need using business-focused “AI blocks”, which in turn means driving value from data faster. No-code frameworks are all about modular building blocks that the enterprise can build around. Data teams are now able to leverage the building blocks and apply best-in-class data science and modeling, without doing any of the modeling, themselves.

I have always been fascinated with AI and have been delivering AI solutions to organizations for many years. I consider AI to be not only a powerful tool, but rather a tremendous business asset that is already disrupting industries everywhere, and a major factor in who succeeds and who fails. My relationship with data analysis and data mining goes all the way back to my military service more than 15 years ago. Serving in the IDF’s Technology & Intelligence Unit 8200 in a role involving technology, engineering and business, I helped the tech side leverage the amazing capabilities of data mining and analysis to deliver optimum business value.

During my early career, I continued my relationship with AI as I led services teams in big companies such as IBM – where I headed Watson services practise, and at KPMG – where I built the AI practice from the ground up, focusing on delivering maximum value through Machine Learning-based solutions.

Along the way, I’ve always found myself tailoring solutions to answer clients’ needs. This has proven to be an important continuum that paved the way to where I’ve found myself at Noogata today: at the intersection of Customer Success and AI application – where I shine best.

I’m so grateful to work with such a strong, creative and innovative team. Building a company is a labor of love and requires people who are dedicated, focused and deliberate. The Noogata team is all of the above. I feel privileged to work in a stimulating workspace, surrounded with people who are passionate about pushing tech boundaries, enabling me to deliver the best customer experience to our valued customers and partners, like PepsiCo & Colgate-Palmolive – who put their faith in us from the beginning.

Noogata is bringing the no-code revolution fully into how enterprises are applying AI. The maturity of AI models, the maturity of the data space, and the evolution of no-code and low-code frameworks put Noogata in the sweet spot of converging market trends.

I’ve loved the journey so far and I look forward to taking enterprise AI to the next level.
